Installation and Configuration of the SonicWall NSA 240
- Creating My Sonic wall account
Go to the –> www.mysonicwall .com –> complete the registration form –> click on the register –> submit –> continue (now the account is created)
- Product Registration
Open the main page –> enter the serial no. on the Register a Product field –> next –> under the add new product type the friendly name of the device –> register –> continue
- Activate your product ( the service management page will display the product you licensed with an expiration date when activation complete)
- Accessing the management interface
IP address in the range of 192.168.168.x/24
In the browser type http:// 192.168.168.168(default lan management IP address)
Sonic wall setup wizard will launch –> follow on screen prompts to complete the wizard. Reboot
- Check your connection after completing the setup if connection is proper then sonic wall appliance is configured properly.
- Login back to sonic wall and go toà system à security dashboardà if dashboard shows that means it is configured properly
- Verify the internet connectivity
- Verify the WWAN connection status Networkà interfaces pagesà WWAN status is connected
Then it shows the active connection.
